Noodl is on Google Play.

After six months of building quietly, the calm task app for ADHD brains is live on Android. Free. No account. No ads. No streaks.

Noodl is live on Google Play.

It is a small thing. A free, private, ADHD-friendly to-do and focus app for Android, version 1.0.4. Eleven screens. No accounts. No sync. No ads. No AI. The whole list of what it doesn’t do is honestly longer than the list of what it does, and that is on purpose.

What it does do, in plain terms: capture a task in three seconds. Schedule it for today, or don’t. Run a focus timer with a quiet button for jotting a thought without breaking flow. Watch your total focused minutes accumulate forever — a number that only grows, never resets. And if a day goes sideways, the tasks you didn’t get to move overnight into a soft pill that says Ready when you are. Not overdue. Not red. Not a broken streak.

We built it because every other task app we’ve loved eventually turned on us. Streaks. Red dots. Wilting plants. Productivity scores that quietly tell you, on the worst morning of your year, that you didn’t do enough. For some brains, that pressure works. For ours — and the ADHD community we’re building for — it’s the exact thing that makes us bounce off.

So Noodl is the opposite of that. The aim is the same as the name: a small, friendly, slightly-misspelled noodle of an app, sitting on your home screen, holding what you’re thinking about, not asking anything of you.

If that sounds like something you want, it’s on Google Play. It’s free, it has no ads, and it doesn’t need anything from you to work.

We’ll be writing here about what we’re building, what we’re refusing to build, and what we learn from the people using it. If you have feedback, the in-app feedback form goes straight to a real human inbox (mine). Tell us what’s good. Tell us what’s broken. Tell us what your task app has been doing to you that you wish it would stop.

We’ll let you know what ships next.
